REQ# Forge_26_013: Minimum five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering, Virtualization or a similar role. The Senior Virtualization Engineer will design, implement, optimize, and sustain an enterprise‑scale VMware Software‑Defined Datacenter (SDDC) environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, thrives in fast‑paced settings, and excels at solving complex infrastructure challenges. You will play a key role in: Architecting secure, highly available virtual infrastructure; Managing VMware vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN environments; Automating deployments and configurations; Supporting container platforms and datacenter fabrics; Enhancing continuity through backup/recovery engineering (Rubrik preferred). This position will interface with engineering, cybersecurity, program leadership, and government stakeholders in support of mission‑critical systems. Candidate must be a US citizen and have an active SECRET clearance at a minimum. TS with SCI preferred.
